Using Bromine

Let Your Spa 'Air Out' After You Shock

When you "Shock" your water weekly, it's very important to leave your cover open/off for a jet run cycle (15-20 min.) so expelled gases can escape.
This protects the underside of your cover, as well as helps your water clarity.

Sticking Air Button

Before you change out the button - try this first -

Take the bezel (outside ring) off and remove the center button - get some soft emery cloth and rub it around the inside of the air button and around the outside of the center button - you may just have some calcium built up causing the button to stick
If that doesn’t fix your button then you will need a new button. They are sold by the size of the hole in the tub. There is a nut on the underside of the air button that holds it in place. You will need to remove the complete air button, measure the size of the hole in the tub in order to get the correct size for replacement.

Keep Bromine to a MINIMUM

If you use Bomine, keep the levels to a MINIMUM, as the gas trapped under the cover will "orange peel" the underside and make it brittle.

How to find out what jet trim you need for your jetted tub

First thing to remember is that tub mfg usually use all the same Mfgs' parts in the tub they are making. so that.. if you can identify the suction cover, the parts with all the holes in it, then you are on your way to finding the correct trim for the rest of the tub. see our website for viewing suction covers from various Mfg.
